For my degree work in Textile Design at The Swedish School of Textiles , I made a project about re-making heritage patterns through printing and tufting. The heritage patterns were made by my grandmothers in the 1960s and 1970s.
This aim of this project was to showcase how to merge the techniques of printing and tufting.
